Amazing climbing centre, brilliant instructors, really friendly and professional. Great for climbing groups, one off sessions with instructors, bouldering, leap of faith and occasional planned outdoor gorge walking/climbing and abseiling. Routes are always being changed and plenty of kit to hire. Can't recommend enough!
Opening Hours
The Boathouse Climbing Centre has approximately 200 square meters of climbing surface with a bouldering wall 4.5 meters high. Our climbing tower is 8 meters high with a series of lead climbs, top rope, and now includes 2 Auto Belay's. Route grades are accommodating to beginners and we also have ones that will challenge the most experienced climbers.
For someone who is looking for an hour’s fun activity that will get the adrenaline pumping to those that are looking to increase their skill level and expertise. Climbing has many health benefits. Boathouse is featured in OriGym's Best Bouldering Gyms in the UK!
Here at the Boathouse Climbing Centre we offer a range of activities for people of all ages to try. Climb, Crawl and Scramble your way through what we have to offer!
We also offer Outdoor Activities for Rock Climbing, Gorge Walking, Mountain Walking, Canoe and Kayaking. Book on one of our advertised activity days or we can design a bespoke programme suitable for what you want to do. We are fully licensed to provide for schools and community groups too!
